Lou enjoying fire-control duty. This photo was from a late-2005 bonfire, at one point the tallest fire we've ever had and the standard by which all other bonfires are measured.

John's silhouette, with the moon in the background. This was the January 2006 fire, the largest one we have on video.

Sarah donated this fantastic collection of fireworks for the February 2006 burn. Primo bottle rockets!

Video of the January 2006 burn (in .wmv format). This one was without fireworks, but was huge. It shot a tremendous amount of large embers 100 feet into the air. So we called it 'roman candle'. Video of the February 2006 burn (in .wmv format). This one opened with a bottle rocket display that was so cool. A smaller fire, but plenty of fireworks. This time it brought out our good friends from the fire department and we had to put it out early. Click the image to the left for a low-res video. Click here for the high-res version (14.5 Meg).
